Will I be charged sales tax?
Sales tax will only apply to residents of the New York in counties in which you are registered.
How can I pay for my order?
We accept all major credit cards. We also accept checks and money orders. Orders paid by check will usually not be processed until the funds have been verified. If you are sending a check, please send it to the name and address given above.
How much will my shipping charges be?
During the order process, you will be given a list of different shipping methods from which you can pick the one that suits you. The total cost of goods and the cost of shipping as well as sales taxes if applicable are clearly displayed. Due to the rising costs of transportation, we have no choice but to charge what we charge. If you have concerns about your order, please email us at adkmuseumstore@adkmuseum.org. Members receive free ground shipping within the Continental United States only. Please note that additional charges may be incurred when shipping to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. Contact us at 518-352-7311 x-123 for questions.
What if I need to return my order?
You may return an item in its original condition for a refund or credit within 15 days of receiving. Shipping charges can only be refunded if the return is due to our error. All returns must be accompanied by the packing slip. After a return has been received, it will take 1-2 weeks to process. If using a credit card, refunds will be credited to your account. If paying by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to you. We suggest using UPS or insured Parcel Post for your protection.
What if you don't have all of the items in stock?
We make every effort to ensure all items are in stock. If an item you ordered is out of stock, it will be back-ordered automatically (domestic orders only). For international orders, we will E-mail you of the missing items to confirm the balance of your order.
Promotions
Some items are offered at reduced prices for a limited time period. These limited-time price reductions are noted on the front page of our web site.
Can I combine two promotional codes?
At this time, you will need to place two separate orders. We apologize for the inconvenience, but at this time, we can only process one promotional code on a single order.
Can I use my Promotional Code on anything I want to order?
Each Promotional Code has unique terms based on what is being promoted. The promotions are available on qualified items. Please read the promotional offer carefully for terms and conditions.
Museum Members
If you have a valid membership with the Adirondack Museum, type member in the promotional code to receive a discount. Members must also "click" free shipping when checking out to receive it.
If you wish, you may renew or join while placing your order. Your discount will be effective immediately.
